We loved staying at Abacatus Farmhouse. The pool was great. It was easy to find using google maps, a short drive into Tavira, and to Tavira Island. Our suite had everything we needed, very comfortable. Sani is an excellent host who provided a delicious breakfast and was very helpful with everything we needed.

Very comfy beds. Plenty of everything needed to self cater. Perfect retreat for tired hikers . In old town near all the restaurants and hiking trails. Beautiful view of surrounding countryside from balcony. Easiest one of the nicest places we stayed on our 9 stays for the hike. Easy self check in . Sofa bed downstairs is more private than other sofa bed options are the main house is upstairs so feels like a separate bedroom . Owners also made up a single bedroom upstairs which was a bonus . El alojamiento se encuentra en Lagos, en la región del Algarve, a 8 km del Centro Ciência Viva de Lagos. Super nice and very accommodating host. The location is very quiet and safe despite a car repair shop around the corner. There is a washing machine(!) and lots of table games. The kitchen has all the basics and some extra like bio vinegar and olive oil. We were very comfortable there.

Beautiful location, about 10 mins drive from Tavira, extremely peaceful surroundings. The house we had was great both in terms of the house itself and the beautiful private pool, but also in terms of the quality and tasteful furnishings. It had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday, including great mattresses, towels, cleaning supplies etc. And the common areas were also lovely, with a kids playground, bbq, and complementary beer. We were only sorry we could not stay longer. Definitely recommend.
